What this website collects

This website does not collect personal data. It has no contact forms, no sign-ups and no user accounts. It sets no cookies, and uses no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking. Nothing you do on this site is recorded by us.

As with any website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (for example IP addresses and browser details) for security and reliability. Those logs are controlled by the host under their own terms.

If you get in touch

If you email or call us, we hold the details you give us — such as your name, email address, phone number and whatever is in your message — so that we can reply and, where relevant, carry out work for you or your organisation.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to an enquiry that you chose to send us. Where we go on to work together, we process your details to perform that contract.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for marketing. We may share details with suppliers who help us deliver a service to you (for example media owners or publications when booking a campaign on your behalf), and with our professional advisers, or where the law requires it.

Our email is provided by Microsoft 365, which stores and processes messages on our behalf under its data protection terms. Where Microsoft processes data outside the UK, it does so under the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for up to two years after our last contact with you, unless it leads to work together.

Records relating to work we have carried out, including contracts, invoices and related correspondence, are kept for six years from the end of the financial year they relate to, as UK tax law requires.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask for it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email david@greencabinwales.com.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk.

If this policy changes, the revised version will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
